” Named after the wood in which the tee for this hole is situated. “ Information A classic par three for the course, quite unusual in that the tee is situated in an out of bounds area surrounded by trees on three sides. A blind shot over the heather to a reasonable sized but slightly angled green with bunkers protecting right and left. The green also drops off slightly on its rear and right edge. A ball pitching short of this green will normally kick down and onto the putting surface. The green itself is one of the flattest on the course and often offers a good opportunity for a birdie if you are lucky enough to find the green in one. Pro’s Tip If you take a walk forward from the tee, this will enable you to pick an accurate line above the target in the foreground on this blind but unique par 3. Graham Ross Golf Professional
